ScrollBreak

App details
The challenge never appears
Check three things in order: Android Settings → Accessibility → ScrollBreak is switched on; ScrollBreak has usage access; and the app you are testing is actually in your protected list. Installing an update or force-stopping the app turns the accessibility service off, so it needs re-arming after every build you sideload. Also check battery optimisation — some manufacturers (Xiaomi, Samsung, OnePlus) aggressively kill background services unless the app is excluded.
The interval fires too often (or not often enough)
The interval is per continuous session in a protected app, not a daily limit. Opening Instagram for 30 seconds, leaving, and coming back resets the clock. Raise the interval in Settings → Break frequency if it feels noisy, or shorten it if you never see a challenge.
I cannot close the challenge
That is deliberate. During a real break the back gesture is blocked so the pause actually happens. Solving the puzzle, finishing the coloring or completing the breathing exercise unlocks the app and adds a fresh interval. Practice challenges are the exception and can be exited at any time.
How do I turn it off completely?
Two ways: clear your protected app list inside ScrollBreak, or turn the service off in Android Settings → Accessibility → ScrollBreak. Nothing is locked behind an uninstall, and no data is retained that would survive removing the app.
Screen time figures look wrong
ScrollBreak reads Android’s own UsageStatsManager, which aggregates per-app time with a delay of a few seconds and occasionally longer on OEM builds. If a session is missing entirely, usage access may have been revoked by the system after an update.

ReelRoll

App details
The feed is empty after granting access
On Android 13 and newer you can grant access to selected items only. If you picked a handful, the feed shows just those. Re-grant media permissions from Android Settings → Apps → ReelRoll → Permissions to include the whole library.
An export takes a long time
Rendering happens on the device with FFmpeg, so export time scales with clip length, resolution and how many effects are stacked. A multi-minute 4K timeline can take several minutes and will warm the phone. Keep the app in the foreground, or leave the export notification visible — the render runs in a foreground service so it survives backgrounding.
Where are my exported reels?
Rendered reels are written to Movies/ReelRoll and extracted audio to Music/ReelRoll. Every finished export also appears in the Studio tab, which is the fastest way to find, replay or share one.
Sharing stripped my location — can I keep it?
Yes. The share sheet offers a with-metadata and a without-metadata path; the second removes EXIF and GPS from the copy handed to the receiving app. Your original file is never modified either way.

ScanLocker

App details
OCR found no text
Recognition needs reasonable contrast and a page that fills a decent part of the frame. Use the "enhanced" or "black and white" filter before exporting, re-crop so the page edges are inside the frame, and make sure the OCR language in Settings → PDF Export matches the document — Latin recognition will not read Devanagari, and vice versa.
I forgot the PDF password
Password-protected PDFs use 256-bit AES and cannot be recovered — by us or anyone else. There is no escrow key. If you still have the unprotected source document in the vault, re-export it with a new password.
The app lock will not accept my password
The app lock is separate from PDF passwords. If biometrics fail repeatedly, Android falls back to the device PIN, then to the ScanLocker password. There is no remote reset, because there is no server — the recovery path is the backup file, which is itself password-protected.
Restore did not bring back every document
Restore merges newest-wins by modification time, so an older backup cannot overwrite newer work. Documents created after the backup was made are intentionally left alone. Restore the newest backup you have, and check Trash before assuming something is lost.
Can I move the vault to a new phone?
Yes — create a vault backup to a file you control (SD card, cloud drive of your choice), copy it to the new device, install ScanLocker and restore. The backup is password-protected, so choose that password carefully.
How do I get CafePOS for my cafe?
CafePOS is sold directly rather than through an app store. Visit cafepos.in or email contact.cafepos@gmail.com to book a demo and discuss pricing for your outlet. GST setup and the invoice format are confirmed with the team because they depend on your outlet and menu.
Does CafePOS work without an internet connection?
CafePOS is a cloud POS, so the counter, kitchen and owner share live data over a connection. Ask the team what the fallback is for your outlet during an outage — including whether the counter can keep taking orders and sync afterwards — before you go live.
How do I change GST or tax settings?
Tax settings are configurable, but the correct configuration depends on your registration (regular or composition), whether menu prices include tax, and the classification of each item. Confirm the setup with your accountant and then with the CafePOS team; do not change tax rules mid-service.
Can I import my existing menu?
Menus are usually loaded from a spreadsheet, but the columns have to line up: categories, item names, variants, prices and tax rates. Ask the team for the template and test it with ten items before importing the full menu.
Who do I contact for CafePOS support?
Email contact.cafepos@gmail.com or use the contact form at cafepos.in. Include your outlet name and a description of what happened — a screenshot of the bill or order screen is usually the fastest way to explain it.
General

Questions about the studio

How fast is support?
Usually within two business days. It is a small studio: mail is read by the people who write the code, which makes replies specific but not instant.
What should I include in a bug report?
The app name and version (Settings inside the app), your Android version and device model, what you expected, what happened instead, and whether it reproduces. A screen recording is worth ten paragraphs.
Do you offer refunds?
Purchases are handled by Google Play, so refunds go through Play’s standard process (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions). If something is broken and Play will not help, email us and we will sort it out.
Can I request a feature?
Yes, and it is read. Requests that fit the on-device constraint and one-job-per-app rule get prioritised; requests that need a server usually do not.
Do you take app ideas or consulting work?
Occasionally, when the fit is good. Email with a short description of the problem and the platform.

Still stuck? Send the details.

Include the app, the version, your Android version and what you expected to happen. That is usually enough to reproduce it.
