How it works
Three steps from install to the first real use.
Make Launcher your home app
Install, accept the terms and choose Launcher as the default home app. Android will ask once; you can change it back at any time.
Pick how the drawer scrolls
Choose vertical scrolling for a continuous grid or horizontal pages with paging dots.
Use the home screen
Tap a dock app, swipe up for the drawer, or open Torch, Compass, Weather, Calculator and News from the quick tools row.

Is Launcher free?
Yes. Launcher is free, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscription. There is no account to create.
Why does a launcher need app visibility?
Android only shows an app the other apps it declares an interest in. Launcher declares a query for apps with a launcher activity so the drawer can list everything you can open from the home screen. It does not request the broad QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission, and the list stays in memory on the device — never uploaded, stored or shared.
Does Launcher track me or show ads?
No. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK. Preferences stay in Android private storage. Network requests happen only when you open News or Weather. Weather sends the selected coordinates to the weather provider solely to return a forecast.
What permissions does it ask for?
Camera is used only to control the flash for the torch modes. Location is optional and used for compass coordinates or a local weather forecast. Internet is used for news and weather. Launcher stores none of these readings; weather coordinates go only to the weather provider.
Does Launcher include weather?
Yes. The Weather tool shows current conditions plus 24-hour and 7-day forecasts for your location or a city you search for. It uses the Google Weather API when configured and Open-Meteo otherwise.
Can I go back to my old launcher?
Yes. Open Android Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app and choose your previous launcher. Launcher does not lock you in.
