These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Launcher, an Android home-screen application published by Prodev Infotech ("we", "us", "our"). By installing, opening or using Launcher, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app and uninstall it.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Launcher on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
2. The app is free
Launcher is provided free of charge. It contains no advertising, no in-app purchases and no subscription. We do not require an account. We may add or remove features in future releases.
3. Your device and your choices
A launcher replaces part of your device's home experience. You are responsible for choosing Launcher as your default home app, for granting or denying optional permissions, and for any changes you make to your device's apps, shortcuts or settings. You can return to your previous launcher at any time through Android Settings.
Launcher can request the list of installed apps, control the camera flash, read your location for compass coordinates and local weather, open the system uninstaller and use vibration feedback. Each permission is optional except where a feature cannot work without it. The Privacy Policy explains every use.
4. Third-party content and services
The News screen displays headlines and links supplied by Google News and other publishers. That content is owned by its respective publishers and is not created, verified or endorsed by us. We do not control its accuracy, availability, legality or suitability. Your use of a third-party website is governed by that site's terms and privacy policy. Google Play distribution is governed by Google's terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Launcher in violation of any law or the rights of another person.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the app or any connected service.
- Remove or obscure proprietary notices, or redistribute the app as your own product.
- Use the app to harass, deceive or harm others.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Launcher working across supported Android versions, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Device manufacturers may change launcher behaviour, restrict background activity or alter permissions. We may release updates that change features, permissions or supported Android versions. We may also stop distributing the app at any time.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Launcher is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be free of defects, that news content will be accurate or current, or that the compass or torch will work on every device.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, device malfunction, missed alarms or any harm arising from your use of, or inability to use, Launcher. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app, which is zero. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
9. Privacy
Launcher does not collect personal data. The Privacy Policy describes the on-device processing, the optional permissions and the limited network requests made by the News and Weather screens.
10. Termination
These Terms apply while you use the app. You may end them at any time by uninstalling Launcher. We may suspend or end distribution of the app, or your licence if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — will survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
